<Why Aligner? > - Proper diagnosis based on problem lists is always the key to success of orthodontic treatment. However, different treatment approach with different tools might lead to variable final results even based on the same diagnosis. Through my limited experiences with braces, and recently, the aligners, I am seeking for a better way to attain better results with minimally invasive approach. In this lecture, I would like to share the pros and cons of utilizing braces versus aligners in treating different difficult malocclusions.
Dr. Huang practices in Tainan, Taiwan and has lectured internationally. She is a certified Damon and Invisalign speaker and shares many tips essential for maximizing the potential of the system. In private practice she has become known for undertaking difficult and unusual cases—from which she has learned some very advanced ideas and applied them successfully, achieving great finished cases. Many of those will be included in her lectures.
