- [Proposals of Kenline with regard to the Changes of Digital Clear Aligner]
- Currently, the Invisible Orthodontic Appliance (IOA),applied to general practice as well as to orthodontics, consists with productionmethods using CAD/CAM. However, over the years, the market of IOA using CAD/CAMhas been seeing rapid growth globally due to the development of orthodontics-only-CAD/CAMand the increased availability of 3D printers. This lecture reviews theproblems occurring whilst using CAD/CAM IOM and methodology to overcome theseproblems. Preoperative diagnosis/diagnostic data collection, types of 3Dprinting, and orthodontics-only-software will be introduced. Additionally, KENLINE® (KENDENTALX,Japan) and its IOM treatment which is connected with general practice throughits diagnosis system and the diagnosis data cloud service, will be discussed.
