- We can jump with the MA wings?
- I made presentations about “Function-First Aligner Orthodontics” at the 2nd and 4th Japan Academy of Aligner Orthodontics. “Function-First Aligner Orthodontics” means the combination orthodontic treatment by doing the functional treatment before starting the aligner treatment. The Trainer system was used for functional problems first, and the Invisalign system was used for tooth problems next. Recently Invisalign First was announced, so the first stage treatment also became possible by the aligner. This time, the cases treated with Invisalign MA were examined. I would like to consider the effectiveness of Invisalign MA as a first treatment.

- Function-First Aligner Orthodontics
- “Function-First Aligner Orthodontics” means the combination orthodontic treatment by
doing the functional treatment before starting the aligner treatment. By solving the
functional problem at first, we can make continued aligner treatment a simpler teeth
movement. So, we can improve predictability of the treatment and shorten the treatment
period. I would like to present cases which treated with Trainer, Moo Shield, Carriere
motion appliance, braces at first, and Invisalign treatment after that. I would like to talk
about the concept of Function-First Aligner Orthodontics this time.

- [Treatment with Trainer and Invisalign]
- The young patients with ClassⅡ div.1 malocclusion were treated with Trainer and Invisalign. At first, the Trainer system was used to remove myofunctional habits. The patients changed to Class Ⅰ occlusion after Trainer treatment, but some dental problems still remained. So, Invisalign System was used for straighten teeth. These combination of mouthpiece systems achieved good functional and aesthetic results without braces. I'll show you some case of my wireless orthodontic treatment.

- [Think about adaptation cases of Invisalign Light]
- インビザライン・ライトは、インビザライン治療システムのオプションの一つで、治療ガイドによると、前後的関係がⅠ級の患者に用いられ、アライナーの数はクリニカルセットアップ規定及び速度基準に基づく14ステージ以内の治療となっている。適応範囲は、①軽度の不正咬合②MTM治療③審美的な治療④パーシャルまたはコンビネーション症例⑤補綴前処置となっている。
アライナー１個につき、0.25mmの移動、２度のローテーション、１度のトルクが付与されるため、インビザライン・ライトの14個のアライナーでは、3.5ｍｍの移動、28度の回転、14度のトルクが最大で付与できることになる。
今回、症例数の少ないインビザラインドクター向けて、取組みやすいインビザライン・ライトで治療した症例を紹介し、インビザライン・ライトで出来る限界を考えながらアライナー治療方法を検討していきたいと思う。
